I am a defense lawyer. I think King John is a bad leader and violated Magna Carta demand #60. One of my strongest speaking points is that King John put a innocent peasant in jail so he could take his horse and cart. This just shows how self centered he is. During the trial I expect to see strong points and ideas from both sides but in the end I expect to see the jury finding King John guilty. For my prop I will be bringing in a briefcase and dressing professional.

I am a prosecution lawyer that is against the king and for the people. King John claims that he would give freedom to the people, but we still had to force him to sign The Magna Carta, AND he has violated rule #60. What rule #60 says is that EVERYONE must follow the rules, but why isn’t he? That is because he is self centered and only cares about himself and riches. I plan on seeing those who are for the king change to against the king after they hear what the lawyers and witnesses have to say. For the mock trial, I plan on wearing a professional dress and having a briefcase like folder to take notes in during the trial.
